Onboard GPS allows you to track the position, speed and heading of your RC boats in real time while navigating.
To take full advantage of this, it is important to use a speed display , in order to view live data and then replay your sessions to analyze your performance.
The boat's GPS is relatively simple in terms of its electronic components. It consists of:
A GPS module capable of receiving signals from at least 8 satellites
A mini ESP32 computer capable of analyzing the signal received by the GPS module and sending it to a remote display to show the boat's speed and direction
A small 3.7V LiPo battery to power the computer and GPS module, without needing to use the boat's battery
A current rectifier allowing you to go from 3.7V to 5V and also to recharge the Lipo battery with a USB cable.
